2011 BOBNW Golf Tournament
Greetings All!
Words cannot express how much we appreciate each and every one of you for your help in pulling off what ended up being wildly successful and extremely enjoyable event! It truly was a team effort that required something from every last one of you and I’m thrilled to say that you rose to the challenge and passed with flying colors. Early indications show that we raised over $20,000 last night, which already factors in us paying the golf course; certainly nothing to shake a stick at considering Band of Brothers NW is a mere 10 months old!
Our board members will be meeting soon to begin discussing how and where the funds should be allocated/distributed, 100% of which, as always, will go directly to those in need, in our community. All of us here at BoBNW will do our best to keep you informed on exactly how your money is being spent so that you may know how the money is being spent.
If you purchased something in our auction last night, but did not physically walk out with anything (i.e. gift certificate, vacation package, etc), not to worry, I will be in touch with you individually, shortly, to provide you with further instructions. Additionally, if you made a contribution to our “Fund A Need” or any other general donation to Band of Brothers NW that was NOT exchanged for any type of goods or services, you will be receiving a tax deductible receipt from our CFO, John Hall, within the next couple weeks. We are still working with our Lawyers/CPAs to determine exactly what we can issue you tax deductible receipts for and our hope is that we can do so for any and all money spent with us, but right now it looks like money that was exchanged for goods or services (auction items, round of golf, etc) may not be tax deductible.
Our deepest and most sincere gratitude, again, goes out to all of you for your continued support of Band of Brothers Northwest.
Thank you,
Chad, on behalf of Band of Brothers NW
